Notes:

Annie Gillman (Mackwood) came from a family of tea planters in Ceylon (modern Sri Lanka). She was the wife of Herbert Webb Gillman, a judge in Ceylon and later Vice Chairman of the Cork Historical and Archaeological Society. Their son was the famous WW1 general Sir Webb Gillman. (Source: ACR Heritage).

Her husband is interred within the apse of Magourney Church across the road to the east. (See http://historicgraves.com/magourney/co-mory-0076/grave).

Sadly, and since the taking of this image, the memorial was badly damaged by a fallen tree during the storm of 12 Feb. 2014.
