He was magistrate and Deputy Lieutenant for the Co. Limerick, a Field Officer in the Royal Limerick
Co. Regt, High Sherriff for County, and Vice-Lieutenant for County and City of Limerick
The Saviour's words of comfort to the sorrowing widow and relatives are
"Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am that they may
behold my glory , which thou hast given me; for thou lovedest me before the foundation of the world"
