The children of Charles and Ellen included:
Patrick, John, Charles, Con, Martin, William, Thomas, Elizabeth and Mary.

Patrick Tuohy, the son of Charles and Ellen was a soldier (No. 11723) in the Royal Artillery and served in Crete (22/4/1897) and Africa (2/12/1899). He later fought in World War 1, was wounded and returned home.

One of the sons of Charles and Ellen married Katie Enright (Castleconnell) but later unfortunately drowned. One of the daughters went on to marry Jim Taylor (Castleconnell) but unfortunately also later tragically drowned.
