Description:  Head of stone- incised around top – “GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO”, beneath on a shield, incised in a florid version of roman capitals – I H S (barely distinguishable) above which is a florid Cross, above that again, on the top of the shield, is a plain Cross.  Incised on a panel, on each shoulder, are Angels in Flight.  The epitaph panel is enclosed in a border of repeated lozenge pattern.  The incised inscription is in roman capitals and lower case all with serifs.
