Description: Top of stone - with so much detail, it is difficult to describe. In a scroll –“Gloria in Excelsis Deo”, below in relief – boat shape, with high bow and stern with floral detail, carrying a Calvary Cross on a plinth. Beneath this, in a panel, in high relief, contained in a church-like detail – a small I H S with the H surmounted by an Ionic Cross, on the roof is a Latin Cross. Each side of this is a Temple like carving containing a Chalice with a Heart within. The “temple” roof turns upwards, with a number of punch hole, to a flower symbol. There is also illegible decoration on the shoulders. The epitaph panel is enclosed in a double incised border, the inscription is Roman capitals and script.
