 Description: Head of stone - in relief – roman I H S with Omega forming the bar of a wide H which is surmounted by a Cross with Nail terminals (signifying the Crucifixion), beneath the H is an inverted Heart, there are also three Heart symbols around the circumference of the Head.  The incised inscription is a form of Cursive writing but is crudely done with numerous sub-text, also note the ligature on the “E” and “T” on the third line and the ampersand on the fourth line (before “his wife”)
