 This headstone is made from sandstone which is very unusual for this graveyard, there are only three such stones.

Description:  Top- In relief – large I H S, with Omega forming the bar of the H, above which there is a Cross with expanded terminals all enclosed in a plain coffin shaped border.  The incised inscription is deeply carved in Roman capitals.  Note the ligatured HE (before SOUL), the subscript YE and 1st, and also the dot between every word.
