Togherstown was occupied by the Brabazon family in c.1754, on the departure of Arthur Magan (of Umma) and his wife Anne Henry. This Brabazon family were a branch of the Brabazon’s, Lord’s of Meath, whose seat was at Kilruddery House, Bray. They remained in Togherstown until c.1840 when it was then occupied by the Dillon family.
