Square stone with rounded shoulders and top:  In shield, in false relief the Christogram -  I H S  with the H surmounted with a Calvary Cross all enclosed in a full sunburst.  Above the sunburst in the Latin motto – “Gloria in Excelsis Deo” meaning “Glory to God in the Highest”.  On each shoulder there is an indistinct carving which may be a rosette of cherub.  The inscription is incised.
