Exact wording of epitaph: 

This Slate Headstone is buried within the wall in the old section of the cemetery.

As it is  Slate - the writing is bad to decipher and also it is written in Latin.

A little research has found that Robert was born on July 23 1604 and married Catherine Wakeman and they both had 6 children.  Robert died on December 23 1670.
