Top: “Blessed are the pure in heart.”

Bottom: Thomas Fuge J.P. who died 19th Dec 1883 and Eliza Fuge who died 22nd March 1878. The son and daughter of William Feuge B.L are also buried in this plot. Also interred in Scottish grave Mary Stewart Fuge, beloved wife of Richard Purcell Fuge J.P. She departed this life 17th Feb 1945. The ashes of Richard Purcell Fuge who died at Horsham 1st Nov 1958 are interred with his beloved wife.”

South side top:”Death to the Christian is but a release, the handmaid that opens the portals of Eternity.”

South side bottom: “Underneath liest the remains of William Feuge Esq. of Rock Lodge in the county of Cork who departed this life May 20th 1830 in the 67th year of his age. Deservedly respected by a numerous circle of relatives and friends to whom he endeared himself by his many virtuous qualities. His son Thomas erected this monument as a tribute of affection to a fond father’s memory.”
