This Monument was erected by

the Parishioners of Carlow,

In token of their affection and respect for

their late Ministers

THE REVD. FRANCIS ARMSTRONG

and

THE REVD. HENRY GARRETT.

The former of whom departed this life on the 31st Janaury 1837,

having filled the Curacy for 11 Months.

The latter on the 10th of July 1838,

having been 9 Months Curate.

"They sorrow not, even as others which have

no hope. believing that as Jesus died and

rose again, even so them also which sleep

in Jesus will God bring with him"
