Notes:

During the excavation of James O' Brien's grave in 1976 three (3) cross carved slabs were discovered about 1 meter below the surface. Known as "Pillow stones" the slabs were subsequently recorded by the National Museum of Ireland and found to be "the only known remains of a 5th centuary monastic or religious site" the slabs are presently on display at The Nenagh Heritage Centre.
