Erected in loving memory of Rose Mary Elizabeth (Rosie) eldest daughter of Robert and Mary Finnegan of Knocktopher who died 5th of Aug 1896 aged 32 years. Robert Finnegan died Jan 31st 1915 aged 76 years, Mary his wife died Feb 11th 1908, 70 years. Thomas his son died May 23rd 1938 aged 71 years. Oh why should our tears roll down or our hearts be sorely riven for another gem in Our Saviour’s crown, for another Soul in Heaven. Erected by her brothers and sisters.
