This is a Commonwealth Headstone

Thomas Dillon joined the Inland Water Transport Section of the Royal Engineers. He died in a military hospital in London on the 12th February 1917 at the age of 30 years. Thomas’s remains were conveyed back to Ireland and he was buried here with full military honours by the Royal Field Battalion, with rifles reversed.  Descendants still reside in County Cork.
