Parents Michael Burns (Cloonlion Glebe, Kings County) & Margaret McManus (Clonfad) were married on the 15th October 1875 in Moore Church. Margaret was recorded as being a widow. They had 4 children: Catherine (Kate) was born 23rd March 1878. Her birth wasn't registered with the Irish civil records but it is recorded in the parish births book. Kate is recorded in the 1901 Irish census aged 20 living with her parents and brothers. She is mentioned in the death notice of her brother Kieran but not mentoined in the death notice of her brother Thomas. No more details on Kate. James was born 25th May 1880 but died 8 months later on the 1st January 1881 from Pertussis x 8 days. Thomas was born 9th June 1884 and died on the 22nd July 1966, aged 82 years, a bachelor. It is assume that he was also buried in this plot. Kieran was born in August 1889 but his birth wasn't registered with the Irish civil records until January 1891. He died on the 26th January 1964 aged 75 years, a bachelor.
Margaret (McManus) Burns died on the 30th October 1909 aged 67 years. No further information on where she was interred. No other information available on Michael Burns's death details.
