Notes:

Three Duffy gravestones are listed here. The address associated with these headstones is Kidlawn,Parish of Moore.

This enclosure is in the ruins of the old church at Kilbegley.

The tablet stone on the wall reveals that this plot was enclosed by Mary A Mannion of Dunmore, grand-daughter of Edward Duffy of Kidlawn & daughter of Margaret Duffy Mannion in the period between 1874 - 1878.

Civil records shows Margaret Duffy, Kidlawn married Thomas Mannion Dunmore. In the records their son Redmond Bartholomew Mannion was born 27th August 1826 and died 10th December 1874 aged 48 years, a batchelor.

Mrs Margaret Mannion was registered as being 67 years at death.

Miss Mary Ann Mannion was registered as being 45 years at death.

Relatives in Kidlawn informed us that Walter E. Duffy Kidlawn is buried here. His memorial card states that he died 12th March 1900 aged 75 years. Civil records show that Walter Duffy of Kidlawn was married to Hanoria Jennings, Cottage Hill, Civil Parish of Killian, Galway in 1864. Hanoria (Nora) Duffy died 1st July 1917 at Kidlawn & her death was recorded by her son, Edward Duffy. Walter and Hanoria's (Nora's) daughter, Nora Duffy, died in Kidlawn on 11th March 1958 aged 86 years. Walter E. Duffy, his wife and daughter are all believed to be buried inside the enclosure.

According to Civil Records, Edward Duffy from Kidlawn died 29th April 1948 aged 66 and status was batchelor.
