Patrick J Galvin was son of William Galvin Clonfad & Bridget Mulvey Cloniff, born on the 24th May 1869. Patrick Galvin a policeman married Nora Cahill merchant both with addresses at Loughrea on the 19th October 1904 in Loughrea. Nora was the daughter of Edmond Cahill. Their son James Gerard was born on the 4th July 1906 in Birr, Kings County.

Patricks father William Galvin Clonfad died 23rd February 1886 aged 60 years is most likely interred in adjacent plot No 100. Folowing the death of her husband Bridget Mulvey Galvin and six of her seven siblings went to U.S.A. Bridget Galvin died on the 16th December 1923 aged 71 years in Boston & is interred in St Josephs Cemetery.

The cross of this headstone has become detached and is resting against the base.
