The address for this grave is Birchgrove House.

Mrs Ellen Brabazon O'Shaughnessy (died 1868) was the daughter of Anthony Brabazon & Catherine ffrench (daughter of Sir Charles ffrench 1st Baronet & Rose Dillon 1st Baroness ffrench). Ellen married John O'Shaughnessy on the 2nd May 1831. Her sister Rose is interred in plot no 168 in Kilbegley Cemetery and her brother Thomas is interred here in plot no 59. Ellens father Anthony Brabazon died circa 1802 and her mother Catherine remarried Edmund Whitehead in 1804.

The Mary Ann Whitehead (died 1882) appears to be daughter from the second marriage of Catherine to Edmund Whitehead and a half sister to Ellen O'Shaughnessy, Thomas O,Shaughnessy and Rose Brabazon.

Catherine & Edmund Whitehead also had a son Robert ffrench Whitehead who was Vice-President of the Seminary in Maynooth for many years.

Australian Papers reported on the  29th May 1946 that Copl, the Hon. John Martin Valentine Joseph ffrench K.M. born on the 19th July 1872 son of Martin Joseph 5th Baron ffrench of Castlefrench & Catherine Mary Ann O'Shaughnessy died recently in Cobh & was buried in the O'Shaughnessy grave at Kilbegley, Ballinasloe. He was educated at Clongowes Wood College and was created a Knight of Malta in 1932. He married an Italian lady Sophia Brambilla & they had a family. His grandson Robuck is now the 8th Baron ffrench and lives in the Clonbrock House, Ahascragh.
