DETAILS OF THIS BEQUEST ARE FOUND ON THE PLAQUE IN THE VESTRY(SEE NUMBER 872.), which reads “Aldn Thomas Croker who departed this life on the 4th of January 1718, aged between 66& 67, left to the poor of the Corporation of Youghal the summe of four pounds a yeare to be paid out of the rents of the house John Farmer lives in forever and to be distributed at his late dwelling house every St Thomass Day.”
