To the glory of God & in memory of Thomas Waggett, for many years a faithful worker in this parish, died October 24th A.D.1905. Erected by his daughters and friends.”

“This pulpit was originally erected in St Mary’s Church Cobh in memory of Thomas Waggett Esq., rededicated in this church by the Lord Bishop of Cork Cloyne & Ross on St Patricks Day 1968.”
