East face:In loving memory of Emily Louisa (Little) Merrick, the dearly loved and loving wife of Samuel John Merrick who entered into rest on Dec 31st 1915 aged 64 years. When Christ who is our life shall appear then shall we also appear with Him in glory. Also of Samuel John Merrick J.P, son of the late Jeremiah Merrick who entered into rest on Jan 24th 1919 aged 73 years.

 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. Psalms XCI.2.

West face: In ever loving memory of Edith Marie Merrick, daughter of Samuel J Merrick who fell asleep in Jesus on March 22nd 1923 aged 38 years. This is the Lord’s doing. It is marvellous in our eyes. Psalms CXVIII.23.
