We will spend this week working with community groups throughout South and East Cork in digital storytelling recording and publishing training. The project is funded by SECAD in tandem with an Ireland XO heritage training programme.
An email has been sent to all participants and text messages will follow. Morning sessions are 9.30-12.30 pm while afternoon sessions run from approx 1.00 - 4.00pm. Training will take place in the home parish, either in the surveyed graveyards or in a local hall. Saturdays training will take place in Midleton SECAD Digital Lab 9.30 - 1.00pm. There is a bit of flexibility in the schedule so text John on 087 2312107 if you need to make contact or email historicgraves (at) gmail (dot) com.
In advance of the training session please prepare a list of stories and people who will be willing to be audio recorded. All stories will be geolocated by attachment to the graveyard or grave memorials and published as products of training to www.historicgraves.com.
