Here lies
the remains of Maria wife
of the Rev.Henry Palmer vicar
of Tubrid. she died on the 31st of
Janry 1826 in the assures hope of a
blessed immortality aged 40 years
also Mary Palmer see tablet to
her memory in the church
name them not dead the father whom
green earth earth close lately oer
nor sadly search the dusty tomb
for those who died no more
the cold grave hides them from our love
but not from him who rules above
their parting as the sun set hours
left gloom on mortal sight
but sun lke, thro' redemptions powr
they dwell in cloudless light
weep not for them: yet weep for ---
brings chastening to the heart
weep for thyself, and pray that so
thou also may depart
