Judy O'Sullivan

Judy O Sullivan lived nearby Clonmeen graveyard. She had vast oral history of the Clonmeen graveyard, who was burried there, headstones etc. She was born in Shronebeha, Banteer. She came to Clonmeen to stay with her aunt who was married to old Tom Mannix. The house where she lived is still standing. During the great famine, soup was given out there. This was at the side, by the road. She also had a great love of nature of all kinds, wild and domestic, an example being the flock of guinea hens she used to keep.
