IN LOVING MEMORY OF CAPTAIN RICHARD CROFTON GEORGE MOORE KINKEAD, R.A.M.C ATTACHED TO X™ ROYAL HUSSARS KILLED IN ACTION WHILE ATTENDING THE WOUNDED NEAR KLEIN-ZILLE-BEKE, IN BELGIUM ON 30™ OCT. 1914, AGED 31 YEARS AND BURIED IN THE CEMETERY AT YPRES. THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED BY HIS PARENTS, PROFESSOR R.J. AND EMILY KINKEAD.

A brass wall plaque on a black marble backing. The border of the plaque is decorated with Celtic interlaced patterns. Over the Ins. there is a coat of arms and crest. Below is a motto on a scroll which reads "SPE SPECTO". The maker's name "T.R. SCOTT & C. .. DUBLIN." occurs on the lower left hand comer of the plaque.
