The item is a brass plaque on a black marble base. It is elaborately decorated and inlaid. The arms o f t h eErasmus Smith Grammar School (College Road) occurs above the Ins. which is enclosed within a Gothic arch. The motto "WE ARE-FAITHFUL-TO-OUR-TRUST" occurs beneath the arms of the Grammar School. The quotation should be from Matthew, Chapter 5, Verse 8.
