Fleetwood Berry (1912 A), 2. Hardiman (1820), 225. Tobias Sherwood is listed as sheriff in 1743. Thomas Sherwood was sheriff in 1744, ibid (1820), 226 lists James Galbraith as sheriff in 1756 (1757 according to Hely Dutton (1824), 315), 1761 and 1763. Hely Dutton (1824), 313 gives Tosias Sherwood (by mistake), as being sheriff in 1743 and Thomas Shewood as sheriff in 1747.
