To the glory of God, and in affectionate remembrance of my father
the very Reverend Frederic Potterton, L.L.D.
dean of Ardagh, Incumbent of this parish from 1872 to 1889, and
rector of Templemichael, Longford, from 1889 to 1907,
where he died 24th August 1912 aged 86 years,
and of my mother Julia E. Potterton,
who died at Templemichael 8th March 1899.
