Erected by James Dillon in

Memory of Mary Dillon alias

Horan who died Nov 1809 aged 82

Erected by a nephew for his aunt,

Thus runs the motto of her monument:

Sequestered from this sinful world lies here

A female wanst to her parents dear

A wife, a widow and so kind a mother

That scarce the paths of time trace such another

He in obedience and duty bound

Her kindred dust with this inscription crownd

In hopes when God might call his soul away

His bones he might deposit in her clay

So friendly readers pray without controul

The Lord above have mercy on her soul.

Erected by James Dillon
