Margaret Maher was from Toomakeany. The Mahers of Lisnafunction also came from Toomakeany. Her daughter inherited Lower Conahy from another daughter who was married to Richard Downey. She was living in Lr Conahy when she got married to James Delanety, Queens County. There is no record of internment for this latter couple. James died 6/10/1907. Their son James or Jamesie was interred here in 1967. Jimmy Delaney, Patrick St,. Kilkenny,son of the latter James and Margaret Maher (Lr Conahy) Jimmy is the father of Eileen Delaney interred here. Jamesie and Margaret's daughter Mary Ellen is mother of Elizabeth Neary, Parksgrove, Lisdowney parish. also interred here.

The above Ellen Maher, Tomakeany, was baptised 23/12/1834. Parents, Edward Maher and Margaret Power. Sponsors, John Conroy and Catherine Doran. Found siblings recorded, Mary 1840,& Patrick Maher 1844.
James Maher, son of William, married Ellen Kealy, Lisnafunshin,daughter of Michael & Margaret Kealy , 18/6/1896. The Civil marriage cert has William for James father, he named his first son Patrick, suggesting his father was Patrick. By marrying Ellen Kealy, the Mahers moved to Lisnafunshin.
