The Margaret Torpey and Catherine ( Kate ) O'Shaughnessy of this memorial were siblings of Michael Torpey (1884-1959) of the adjacent memorial 0046.

Margaret Torpey was born on the 24-03-1887 in Martinstown, Co. Limerick & died on the 22-12-1947 in Hospital, Co. Limerick.  Her daughter Margaret  Mary Torpey, who was born on the 28-04-1915, married  Robert Duhig (1914-1983) son of Thomas Duhig & Winifred Fitzgerald of Emly, Co. Tipperary on the  17-03-1934 in Hospital RC, Co. Limerick.

Robert Duhig died on the 24-02-1983 at 113 Lanark Rd, Maida Vale, London  as did his wife Margaret Mary on the 28-11-1985.

Catherine ( Kate ) O'Shaughnessy, nee Torpey was born on the 08-03-1880 in Martinstown, Co. Limerick and died in Kilmurry, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick on the 15-02-1953. She married Thomas O'Shaughnessy on the 20-02-1912 in Ballinvana RC, Co. Limerick. Children born to them included John O'Shaughnessy 18-02-1917 & Michael 14-11-1920
