NB. Wife of Thomas Murphy who died March 1921 was Johanna  Moore  (1853-1895), a native of Gurtnakilleen, Pallasgrean, Co. Limerick. Her father was John Moore, a farmer.

Children born to Thomas Murphy & Johanna Moore were Hanora (Nora)  Murphy (1890-1978), Michael (1892-1912), John 1894  &  David (1895-1964).

David  Murphy  (1895-1964)  married  Johanna  ( Josie )  Connors (1908 - 1964),  eldest  daughter  of  Thomas Connors  &  Margaret  Bradshaw  of  Duncummin, Emly  on  the  21-08-1926  in  Emly RC. 

Their family included Thomas Murphy 1927, Josie Mai 1930-2007, Michael J 1935-1998, John J (Jack) 1940-2020, William P 1943 & Margaret E 1944.

John J (Jack)  Murphy 1940-2020 died in Twickenham , London on the 13th Nov 2020. At the time of his death, he was predeceased  by his brothers Tom & Mick, sisters Josie Mai O'Neill & Margaret. Jack was survived by his loving daughter Joanne, brother Willie Murphy, son in law Adam, grandsons Harry & Tom, brother in law John O'Keeffe, sister in law Mai Murphy,

Thomas  Connors, son  of  farmer Thomas Connors of  Duncummin  &  Margaret  Bradshaw, daughter of Thomas &  Anne  Bradshaw  of  Cullen  were  married  in  Cullen  RC,  Co. Tipperary  on  the  27-02-1906.

Siblings of  Josie  Murphy , nee Connors (1908-1964)  included  Thomas Connors  1911,  Annie  1912 -1928, Kate  1914 , Joseph  1915  & John 1918.  Mystery  surrounded  the death of  Annie  Connors  ( 1912 -1928 ) at  Duncummin, Emly  and  her father Thomas Connors  stood  trial  in relation to same but was found not guilty.  He claimed  that she had been attacked  and  killed by their cow.

NB.  Hanora  (Nora)  Murphy, 1890 -1978, married Matthew Moloney,  son of  Matthew Moloney &  Mary Carroll  in  Emly  RC  on the 26-06-1929 . They lived next door to the Creamer family in Ballyvistea.
