Within this monument are enclosed the rem
ains of Mr Andrew Brophy of Parksgrove
who departed this life on the eight day of
March in the year of Our Lord 1814 aged 58
years. The grateful affection of an afflicted
widow whom he left the mother of 6
helplefs children erected this testimony in remembrance of the virtues of a husb
and and universally beloved in the circle of his
acquaintance and connections and respect
ed in his intercourse with the world as a most
worthy upright and intelligent man sober
but not sullen generous but not extravagant
the even tenor of his well regulated life was
closed in the full and well founded anticipati
on of a glorious immortality.May he rest in
peace Amen.Also his daughter Mrs
