   This tomb was erected by
   Thomas Carroll of the city of
   Waterford as a tribute to the
   memory of his beloved wife
   Catherine Carroll alias Walsh
   who departed this life the 18 March 1828
   .........of her age in the midst of 
   numerous and afflicted family to whom
   she endeared as a dutful child a sincere 
   and affectionate wife and tender mother a 
   warm kind and charitable christian.
   Also his daughter Mary Anne who died
   Jan 11 1815 aged 26 and his son John
   who died August 19 1871 aged 78
   Mrs Bridget Doherty nee Carroll died
   26 August 1899 aged 76 years
