Sacred to the memory of William Losley, late of the city of Dublin, who departed this life first of September 1834 aged 63 years.

If virtuous deeds and friendship most sincere

May claimthe tribute of a parting tear

Tis thine who while on earth did fondly prove

The peace attendant an domestic love.

Who was a father dear, a husband kind

A heart of goddness and exalted mind.

In heaven I trust thy soul is soaring high

In hallowing joys that never never die.
