Ballyneety, Templebredon, Co. Limerick

Hugh Hogan 1861-1940, son of John Hogan 1831-1911 of Attyvreaga, Templebredon married Bridget  Doherty 1866-1920, daughter of William  Doherty of Sologhead, Co. Tipperary on the 1st  Mar 1892 in Sologhead  RC. Their son, John Joseph  Hogan 1899-1960 ( of this memorial ) was born in Attyvreaga on the 15th July 1899. He married  Maryanne ( Marian )  Quane 1907-1980, daughter of John Quane & Margaret Ryan of Newtown-Ellard, Templebredon on the 26th Jan 1926 in Templebredon RC.

Hugh  Hogan 1926-2000, eldest son  of  John & Marian Hogan (nee) Quane was born on the 5th Nov 1926. He emigrated to the USA in Feb 1948, served in the US Army 1951-1953 and married  Anna Mary Caulfield 1936-1970  in New York in 1959. He died in New York on the 20th Jan 2000. Both he and his wife were interred in Long Island National cemetery in East Farmingdale, New York
