In the 1826-1828 Tithe Applotments for Templebredon parish, Patrick Carmody is recorded as well as a Daniel , Darby & David Carmody in the townland of Knockeravilla, Templebredon

In Fr. Thomas Mahony's 1834 census of Templebredon parish, the household of Patrick Carmody consisting of four males & three females is recorded for the townland of Knockeravilla as well as three Hogan families, Patrick (2) & John (1).

In Griffiths Valuation of the 1850's, only a Daniel Carmody is recorded for the townland of Ballyneety North, Templebredon.
