Patrick  Gorman 1809-1877, married  Bridget  Dwyer  1810-1886  ( recorded here ) in Templebredon  RC, Co. Limerick on the 19th Feb 1833. Their children included  Mary Gorman 1838, Thomas 1840-1920,  Alice 1843 -1843,  Alice 1844,  Edmond 1847-1926 ( who had this memorial erected ), Bridget 1849,  Catherine ( Kate )  1852-1925  &  Ellen  1855.

 Edmond  Gorman  1847-1926, a master cooper, married  Margaret  Nash  ( -  1939 ), daughter  of  Michael Nash 1828-1877, a  tailor  &  his  wife  Bridget  Loughnane  1834-1908  of  Knockane, Templebredon, on the 13th Feb 1877 in  Templebredon  RC. Their children  included  Patrick  Gorman 1878 -1918, Thomas 1879-1879, Michael 1880 ( a Primary School teacher ), Bridget  1882,  Thomas  1884,  Edmond  1886, Richard  1887,  John 1889,  Jeremiah  1891-1891,  Mary  1892,   Jeremiah  1893,  Kate 1895  &  Margaret  1897.  Michael  Nash  &  Bridget  Loughnane  were  married  in  Cullen - Lattin  RC, Co. Tipperary  on  the  19th  Jan  1856. NB. The  Nash  family  burial  plot  is  in  Cullen cemetery, Co. Tipperary.

Patrick  Gorman 1878-1918,  eldest  son  of  Edmond  Gorman 1847-1926  &  Margaret  Nash, died  of  wounds  received  in  action  on  the  9th  March  1918  during  World  War 1  in  Belgium  while  serving  with  the  28th  Battalion  of  the  Australian  Infantry.  Service  No. was 5594. Remembered  at  Berks  cemetery  extension,  Ploegsteert,  Hainaut,  Belgium  at  11. A. 37.

Kate  Gorman  ( 1895  -   ),  daughter  of  Edmond  Gorman 1847-1926  &  Margaret  Nash, eloped and married Patrick ( Paddy ) Farrell 1888-1967, son of Patrick Farrell & Mary O'Brien of Ballinanima, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick. They lived in Knockaundoolis, Templebredon.

Their son Jeremiah (Jerry ) Farrell 1942-2013 died on the 11th Feb 2013 His obituary reads as follows : :Jerry Farrell of Ballyrobin, Cullen, Co. Tipperary and late of Knockcanedoolis, Garrydoolis, Co. Limerick, died on Monday Feb 11th 2013. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Anne, daughters Bernadette and Caroline, brothers, sons-in-law Andy and Padraic, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, adored grandchildren Abbie, Rachel, Dominic, Edward, Padraic and Megan, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
Reposing at his residence this Wednesday evening from 4pm with Removal at 8pm to St. Patrick's 1942-2013, died on the 11th Feb 2013.Church, Cullen, Co. Tipperary. Requiem Mass on Thursday 14th Feb at 11.30am and burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Thomas  Gorman  1840-1920,  a  cooper.  married  Honora  Meehan  1841-1917,  daughter  of  William  Meehan  &  Mary  O'Neill  of  Knockaundoolis, Templebredon  on  the  8th  Feb  1868  in Templebredon  RC. Their  children, all  born  in  nearby  Cullen, Co. Tipperary, included  Bridget  Gorman  1870-1939,  William  187-19582,  Patrick  1875-1928,  Mary  1878,  Michael  1880 -1880  &  Michael  1882 -1883.

Bridget Gorman 1870-1939, married Michael Ryan (1869 - ) son of Michael Ryan & Eliza Power of Gortanerrig, Sologhead, Co. Tipperary on the 12th Feb 1907 in Lattin RC, Co. Tipperary. She died at Deerpark, Shronell, Co. Tipperary on the 9th Nov 1939,

William  Gorman 1872-1958, a bachelor farmer at Shronellmore, Co Tipperary, died in St. Patricks Hospital, Cashel, Co. Tipperary on the 19th Feb 1958.

Mary  Gorman ( 1878 - ) married  James Cashin ( 1885 - ) son of James  Cashin & Johanna  Ryan of Spittal & Roseboro, Co. Tipperary on the 3rd Sep 1909 in Tipperary Town RC. Their children included Nora Mary Cashin 1912, John 1913, William 1914 & Johanna 1916.

Patrick Gorman 1875-1928, was a cattle dealer with a farm at Ballyvistea, Emly, Co. Tipperary. In late March 1921, havin been convcted as an informer for Crown forces by an IRA court martial, he was arrested by the IRA at his farm in Ballyvistea, Emly, Co. Tipperary and  taken to a place of execution in Bartoose, Emly. The execution  was a botched affair which left Gorman with  gunshot wounds to his  legs. On the morning of the 1st April 1921, he was taken to Tipperary Union Hospital, hidden in an ass and cart by his sister Bridget Ryan. He was taken from there by Crown forces to  the Military Hospital in Tipperary Town for his own protection and recuperation.until March 1922 when he emigrated to London having received compensation from the Crown for being incapacitated due to his injured legs.

He married his long term partner Mary Ellen Finlan (1886 - ) in St. Aloysius RC, London  on the 21st Apr 1928. Both their addresses were recorded at the time of their marriage as 166 Seymour St, London. Patrick Gorman died in London on the 22nd Nov 1928. He iwas reportedly buried in an unmarked grave in either Lattin or Shronell cemetery, Co. Tipperary.

Catherine  ( Kate Gorman  1852-1925,  married  John  Quinn 1828-1912,  son  of  Richard  Quinn  1798- 1869  &  Winifred  Moloney  1795 - 1875  in  Templebredon  RC  on  the  31st  May  1873.  Both  John  Quinn  1828-1912  &  his  wife  Catherine  ( KateGorman  1852-1925  are  interred  at  memorial  0002  in  this  cemetery.
