John Quinn 1828-1912, of this memorial, son of Richard Quinn 1798-1869, an egg dealer & Winifred  Moloney 1795-1875, was baptised in St John's parish Limerick City on Jul 1st 1828. Richard  Quinn died in Garrydoolis, Templebredon on the 22nd Aug 1869 and his wife Winifred died there also on the 6th Dec 1875.

John Quinn 1828-1912, an egg dealer, married  Catherine  ( Kate ) Gorman  1852-1925, daughter of master cooper  Patrick  Gorman 1809-1877 & Bridget  Dwyer 1810-1886 of Knockaundoolis, Templebredon on the 31st May 1873 in Templebredon RC. Bridget  Gorman, nee  Dwyer  1810-1886 is recorded at memorial  0066 in this cemetery.  Children born to John Quinn & Catherine ( Kate ) Gorman at Garrydoolis included  Winifred  Quinn 1874, Bridget 1875, Richard 1877, Mary 1878, Patrick 1880-1882, Margaret 1882, Patrick 1885-1885,  Alice 1886, Ellen 1888, John 1889-1890  &  John 1891-1951.

John  Quinn 1891-1951  of  adjacent  memorial  0001, an egg & feather dealer, married  Annie  Russell 1896-1970, daughter of James Russell 1867-1953 & Mary Reardon 1871-1955 of Ballinacree, Emly, Co. Tipperary on the 31st Dec 1913 in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary. Children born to them included  John  Quinn 1914-2011, Catherine 1915, Mary 1917-1919, Winifred 1918, Mary 1920, Richard ( Dick ) 1928, Bridget ( Biddy ) 1930-1962  & Patrick 1931-2017. NB. There were others.

John ( Johnny ) Quinn 1914-2011, married  Josephine ( Josie ) McGrath  1921-2008, daughter  of  James McGrath 1874-1955 & Catherine Power ( 1894 -  ). Both Johnny Quinn & his wife Josie are interred at memorial LI-OPLS-440 in Old Pallas cemetery, Co. Limerick  on the historicgraves website.

Bridget ( Biddy )  Quinn 1930-1962, of adjacent memorial  0001, married  Patrick ( Pat )  Franklin 1926-1981, son of George Franklin 1870-1951 & Margaret  Frawley ( 1894 -  ) of  Corelish, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick.  Pat  Franklin  remarried  to Deborah ( Hett ) Dwyer 1929-2016, daughter of John ( Jack ) Dwyer 1887-1970 & Deborah Ryan 1898-1961 of memorial  0030 in this cemetery. Hett Franklin, nee Dwyer & her husband  Pat Franklin are interred at memorial  LI-OPLS-259 in Old Pallas cemetery, Co. Limerick on the historicgraves website.

Patrick  ( Pakie )  Quinn  1931-2017, married  Mary  Davitt. He died  in Ballinard, Herbertstown, Co. Limerick on the 28th Mar 2017. His obituary reads as follows :

Death  of  Patrick ( Pakie ) Quinn, Ballinard, Herbertstown, Co. Limerick and  formerly of the cross of Knockane, Garrydoolis, Co. Limerick.on the 28th March 2017.  Loving husband of the late Mary (nee)  Davitt
Deeply regretted by his daughters Bridget and Ellen, sons in law DJ and Pat, grandchildren, greatchildren, nephews, nieces, family relatives and friends.
Reposing at Daverns funeral home Hospital, Co. Limerick this Wednesday evening  29th March  from 5.30pm, followed by removal at 7pm to The Sacred Heart Church Herbertstown. Funeral Mass on Thursday 30th March  at 11.30am with  burial afterwards in Hospital cemetery, Co. Limerick.
