Patrick O Sullivan, Paddy the Tailor, was a well respected tailor in the Banteerlocality. He was a master craftsman who went from house to house to sew, repair, alter and make suits for adults and children. Sometimes he stayed in the farmers house until he finished, then moved on again to the next house either on foot or bicycle. His was a hard life at times especially in winter time as at times there might be no work. He was the last of the travelling tailors in the locality and deserves to be remembered.
