Exact wording of epitaph:

Sacred to the memory of
REBECCA,
(Late the wife of Mr Benjamin Guinness of this city,)
who departed this life on the 11th day of February A.D.1819
aged 41 years,
and whose mortal remains are laid in the tomb of
her husbands family in the church yard, at the
east end of this church.

In fulfilling all the duties of social life
as a friend,a relative, a daughter, a mother and a wife!
none perhaps ever surpassed her.
With a love, pure, steady, tender, and fervent,
she devoted herself to the object of promoting the happiness of all around her,
which, joined with a deportment marked by kindness sincerity and humility,
secured the friendship and affection of all.
Her love began, but ended not within this circle,
like the source from whence it sprung, it was exhaustless and diffusive:
she was ever ardently engaged in devising and executing plans
for the releif of the destitute, the comfort of the sick, the instruction of the young,
and the refuge of the unprotected:
and having thus done, she yet knew and felt herself an unprofitable servant,
and trusted only in the all perfectness and righteousness and atonement
of JESUS CHRIST her Saviour,
to whom be all the glory. Amen!
