Gothic  designed Stained Glass window  with Brass memorial plaque on window sill.

This is the work of Catherine O’ Brien  Stained glass artist 1881- 1963 Studio: An t`ur gloine .  Window on the south side of the church, gothic style limestone, with two Lancets depicts on the left Saint Kieran and on the right St Moling.  Above in the  three tracery lights are partridge and a grouse with a tiny kneeling figure of St Kieran praying  with  two other smaller tracery light mainly blue left and right

The narrative depicted in both lancets relays to us the story

Saint  Patrick gave Saint Kieran a bell and sent him to Ireland to found a Monastery where ever the bell rang, and it did, in the Diocese of  Ossory. Saint Kieran is shown with the bell at his feet, four of his pets are also shown, a badger, a stag, a wolf, and a fox.  Above on the left are hounds and huntsmen, St Moling was also fond of animals and his Alsatian dog sits in an upright position next to him, his pet fox had many faults.  In the bottom of the right side of the window a monk is shown making his pet fox hand up a valuable book which the fox had buried.  Above to the right the same fox now penitent for having eaten the monastery hen visits the convent and steals a hen to bring back as a peace offering.  St Moling said to him "now you have committed two sins and you are to put the hen back in the ladies Cloister." The sisters are shown at being surprised at  finding their hen has been restored.  Above in the tracery area partridge and a grouse with a tiny kneeling figure of St Kieran praying.
