Here Lie
the mortal remains of the
Revd Peter O'Neile, who departed this life
30th June 1835, in the 86th year of his age
and 50th of his ministry as P.P. of the united
parishes of Shangary, B,macoda and Ladysbridge
being a worthy minister of a crucified Saviour.
He was not without a portion
of his Redeemer's Cross in this life. 
As he possessed the virtues
that should adorn a priest
Humility, Continence, Charity, Solid learning,
Piety, Hospitality and Paternal Care of the Poor.
He lived respected and died regreted
by all who knew him
May His Soul Rest In Peace
amen
