FitzGerald (1910-12), 83 indicates that this stone was in the churchyard when he recorded it. He omits the 7th line completely. He reads the first name as "HUMPHRY LANFEAR" instead of "HEENRY". Fleetwood Berry (1912 A), 4 gives the inscription as follows "Mary Lanfar who died 16 of March 1684 and also Body of [John Lanfar] David Lanfar son of John Lanfar who died 23rd of April 1685." The first two lines have been omitted by Fleetwood Berry. The first name is definitely HEENRY. It would also seem from Fleetwood Berry's list that the stone was outside c. 1912.

Notes: 

A H.S. which like No. 336 (opposite it), has been incorporated in the South wall of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Its edges are obscured by modem cement. It has been set in a modem arched recess in the mortar. The lettering is similar to that on the Kingcome slab on the opposite wall but very worn and damaged. The stone is not in situ and it seems from the wear on it to have been previously recumbent for a long period but may originally have been set in an upright position. The bottom is roughly tooled. FitzGerald describes it as a round-headed slab. The small "E''s of the "YE" are clear in the first and last instances but uncertain in the two other cases.
