Bur. Reed. Vol. 2 (1847), "James Peacock, abode Constabulary Barracks, Abbey Gate Street, buried July 7th 1847, aged 19 years". Fleetwood Berry (1912 A), 8. He gives the first seven lines of the Ins. only and inserts an "and" in the seventh line which does not appear to occur. From his list it seems that the stone was still in the graveyard c. 1912.

The first Biblical quote is a variation on Job Chapter 7 Verse 9 "As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away, so that he that goeth down to Sheol shall come up no more". The second Biblical quote is from Job Chapter 19 Verse 25. Inc'd. Ins. The stone is reused as paving in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel and the original top and bottom have been cut away.
