FitzGerald (1895-97), 462 gives the inscription as we, too have recorded it, except that he could also make out an "R" after the 6th word. This is a large complete Rect. slab with a lighdy Inc'd. Ins. in Latin. The last word on the in the fifth line may have been "RELICTA". Some of the Ins. has spalled away and is difficult to read. The letter forms are a mixture of upper and lower case ones, and all of the "Ns" have been reversed. Most of the lower third of the stone has been crudely pocked over. The fragment is well preserved and the lettering is boldly cut in false relief.
