The inscription is taken from Buggy as nothing of it now remains. Here lyes the body of Michael Archer who dyed ---- Nov ---- aged 66 yrs. Also his wife Mrs. Mary Archer al Ryan who dyed Nov. 19th 1780 aged 70 yrs and several of their children.

Collapsed inscribed headstone decorated with a circular sunburst within which is an IHS surmounted by a cross with expanded terminals and pierced heart below. A scroll with 'Gloria in excelsis deo' is carved above the inscription. There are two parallel lines of incised marks on each side of the sunburst which may be the remains of worn urns.
