memory  of  his  uncle  William

Wallis  who  departed  this  life

Aged  38 years.

Ye mortals now  prepare  your  way

for  by  the  first  man's  fall

You  Will  shortly  follow  me

Death  is  entailed  on  all

But  glory  be  to  Christ  the  Lord

Let  all  men  Him  adore

If  we  obey  His  holy  words

we'll  live  again  to  die  no  more

His  spirit  long  sustained  me

Thro  various  trials  &  strife

But  by  His  power  He  set  me  free

and  gave  me  everlasting  life
