Here are interred
to await a Glorious Resurrection in Christ
the mortal remains of the
Rev. David Coleman
a native of this Parish
who was overtaken by his last fatal illness
while engaged in the active duties of the Mission
as Catholic Curate of Kanturk 

He died on the 6th of March 1873
in the 54th year of his age
and 21st year of his Ministry
much regretted by all who knew him
May he Rest in Peace
